MultiRoom box malfunction

One of my multiroom boxes has stopped functioning. All physical connections are fine, and the satellite signal is fine on other boxes. The signal started to break up about 2 weeks ago (pixelated pictures, loss if signal), but for the past week, we have no channels. Recordings are available only some days when the box is not "initialising" for hours. We had a similar issue a couple of years ago and this is the replacement box. Has anyone else come across this?

@AWF123 Your post suggests that you have another Multiroom box?

If so, first thing I'd try is to swap them over. This should help to see if it's the box or the cabling/LNB on the dish that is at fault.

Re: MultiRoom box malfunction

@oj01 thanks, yes I have tried another box and get the same message. It says I'm not getting a satellite signal. Are the multiroom boxes on a different satellite connection to the main box do you know?

Each box has its own cables to the dish, so it could be an issue with the cables or the LNB on the dish where the cables plug in to

Re: MultiRoom box malfunction

@Annie+UK thank you, I updated my box based on the steps in your link and swopped the connectors. We're back in business.

Thanks a mill!
