Hi all,
I want to move my q box to the opposite side of my living room. Thing is the satellite cable runs to it currently (partly) under my laminate. Is it possible to move the box without taking up the laminate? Can I have the cable cut from where it goes into the floor, and somehow connect extra cable to run it to where I want to put the box?
any help greatly appreciated!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes, coaxial cable can be cut and re-terminated: that's typically how it's installed in the first place off bulk reels. You'd need screw-on termination rather than the crimp-fit which Sky installers sometimes use: these are available online, and there are many videos on YouTube showing how to fit them.
