Moving Folders.

I need to move old folders from my previous email address to my new Sky Yahoo account, can anyone tell me how to do this quickly and safetly please.

I don't  know of any way you can move folders and their contents from one email account to another. You can only forward the individual messages. Using an email app or client may be the solution. You can move messages between folders within the app, but it doesn't involve them moving between accounts.

As @Mark39 suggests it should be possible to set both addresses up as IMAP in a client such as Thunderbird and "drag and drop" them between accounts. Just be aware it may be a slow process as it will effectively be uploading them all.(dependant on your broadband speed)

How have you got a new Sky email address, they have not been issuing new addresses for a long time?

Not a new address but it has been re-opened.

I'm confused then. Sky aren't opening email addresses, and if it's an address you've had before, I'm lost as to why your folders etc aren't included.

I had another email address and just stopped using my Sky one but now I'm going back to my Sky one. Please stop thinking about it, you helped with your original reply.
