Missing channels on sky go app

I have the latest version of the sky go app.

However some channels are missing from the tv guide. For example in the list of channels it skips from

141   5 USA

To 

151   E

Completely missing the channels in between , (144 Quest  + 149 Quest Red) along with other channels 

I have checked I have the latest app and version. I've tried uninstalling and downloading the app again. I can still see all sky movie, sports and radio channels.

If you select the "Record to Sky box" option at the top of the guide you will see them as the channels themselves are not available to view via the app.

Hi, this doesn't work for me. I don't have the options watch on phone/record to box? I pay over £100 a month and have asked sky countless times to help me with this, I'm so frustrated. When I'm indoors connected to the Q Box, my Sky Go app has EVERY channel. But when I go out and it disconnects, I lose about 60% of the channels. Surely I should have them all working when that's what I pay for, and I use the app frequently. I've uninstalled countless times. And tried everything, then I saw ur suggestion but can't seem to do that on my app? I'm really at a loss.....and it's not fair!!!! Sky just won't help at all, just reinstall they say, that's if I'm lucky enough to get through.

It doesn't work like that I'm afraid. When not connected to your Sky Q box then as you have found not all channels are there as the channel owbers themselves do not want them on Sky Go. The BBC being an example of this so I'm afraid what you want doesn't come into it.

Why is channel 140 not available on sky go app to watch. I do not want to record it, I want to watch it.

Channel owners get to choose if they wish to give Sky permission to distribute their content via the Go app: if, for example, they have their own app, YouTube channel or website distribution then they may well not grant such permission.
