@1qa2ws

The most common cause of that is inadequate WiFi, but we also get posts from users still on ADSL broadband which just doesn't have fast enough outbound speed even on a perfect connection.

@1qa2ws there are no settings that need or indeed can be changed on Sky hubs for MS teams. Most issues are due to flaky wifi which can affect any home connection and is where I would start,  can they use ethernet cable connection?

Sky are the second largest ISP in the UK and will have literally millions of customers uusing MS Teams etc. Video conferencing software is vulnerable to jitter which is why poor wifi is so often the problem. Sky hubs wifi is not the best admittedly but then again few ISP freebie routers are much better.

While there could be a local issue affecting Warrington area but those woulld cause a total loss of connection rather than just affect a single app.

Re: Microsoft Teams call drops

I know with Virgin Media if the firewall setting is set to medium this stops parts of teams functions from working such as screenshare.

Are there any setting on the sky router to white list certain applications?

Use MS teams very often with the Sky Broadband hub on wifi.
But I get around 60-70mbps on my wifi around my house and on the patio (where I mostly use it)
If using via a PC with the MS teams app you will need a good wifi signal, it seems to hog the bandwidth at times for certain PC setups.
Try instead to use MS teams via your PC browser, it works so much better and connection is known to be a lot better and more reliable.
If it just for calls and more basic stuff, there is an MS teams app on Android and iOS that can easily be used on phones or tablets. It too works better on a low signal broadband connection. But some more intense features are mssing or not so intuitive on the apps if you use them.
