I was told 10 was ok, but would need more for UHD. It is mad that iplayer works (in UHD)but not Glass (in HD).. my BT guaranteed speed is 12 (ahem). I do have the Halo pack so can force it to around 25 (by removing the cable from the router) but still get stuttering.

I was told the issue was bandwidth, not speed! Over and over again I had the same problems as you mention and my speed was 140mbps, on a Sky router. I think Sky are being very disingenuous with its customers about this. I managed to return mine and cancel everything after about 4 months of problems.
It's why I won't touch Stream until I know it's not going to have the same issues.
Every time my Sky played up I switched to Amazon Firestick, and that worked perfectly. It's definitely a Sky server/software/hardware problem.

Find out more@Adam19882022 Stream and Glass will have the kind of issues you report if the data feed either has too low bandwidth or suffers from high levels of jitter. If you are using wifi it is highly probable that is your issue the best solution is to use ethernet cables or powerline adapters but a decent whole homecwifi system will also work. Wifi from a single wifi router is often affected by interference which will cause stuttering etc mesh wifi systems are far more resiliant.
With decent data feed my 4 units are completly stable using wifi.

@cocosweep I read your comment with interest and amazement. I opted for Glass and the end of 2021 and it was a vast mistake. I had a full list on foolscap paper of problems and clitches. Swapped back to Q and have never looked back. The TV has had problems and gradually Sky are resolving the issues. My neighbour is looking to replace her TV and I've advised her very vigorously to avoid Glass/Stream

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Debonsteve59 Glass is a far better product form when you had it in 2021. Unless you've had regular access to Glass since then you've probably not had a chance to see the improvements. Certainly it's not like Q, but it was never meant to be, it's a different service for a different type of customer.
Hell, I can even run it over Wi-Fi these days, something that was impossible for me with Q and also when Glass was launched, although to caveat that I do need a mesh network for stability in my house, but it certainly didn't work when launched over wireless even with the mesh.

I have lots of programs in my playlist which I haven't added and when I added the cricket highlights from England v Pakistan there was nothing in the playlist

We have had it around 10 days now, apart from a few little issues we are finding it an excellent product. The only issues we have had is the tv freezing on 3 occassions within the first few days since then it has been fine. No issues with the picture, sound, apps not loading etc which many are reporting .
Disappointed they do not have the My5 app as they seem to have a limited catch up section for Ch5 compared to Sky Q, and a couple of their shows werent available which I had added to the playlist but did appear a day or two later.
I cant say we are missing SkyQ at all very pleased with the playlist funtion it is great having all the shows you watch from across all the apps in one handy place.
We had a QLED tv before and the picture on Glass is far superior to that, HD is excellent even the channels not in HD are better quality than on Q/previous tv.
No regrets

Hi all,
Had Sky Glass 55" TV since Friday 27th January and had nothing but problems, firstly the screen seems cloudy and I have a faint line across the bottom where it looks whiter and brighter than the rest of the screen, and then the issues..... Firstly Netflix wouldn't play (had to unplug and plug back in) then it worked, but I have to do this everytime I use my fire stick then want to watch Netflix. I then got the black line through the TV and once again had to unplug and plug back in. Following this I have lost sound and once again had to unplug and plug back in and now this morning the screen has started to freeze. I am going to call Sky today and request a new TV as this one is not fit for purpose.

Update to previous.
Spoken to Sky they have talked me through a factory reset which is; turn off the plug hold the power switch down on the TV turn the plug back on keeping hold of the power switch on the TV for at least 30 seconds which gives it a full factory reset done this and no problems as yet but only been a few hours fingers crossed this will sort it, they've informed me any further issue and i will have a replacement TV.
Hope this helps some of you

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreJust to remind, a factory reset of Sky Glass should only be done when instructed to do so by Sky.
Thanks,
Tim
