Re: MY PRINTER IS CONNECTED BUT SAYING ITS OFFLINE
I've got a similar problem. I have an Epson 3550 which worked perfectly, wirelessly printing from mobile phone, tablet and PC. Since upgrading to SkyQ I either cannot print at all, in the case of my mobile, or a PC takes several minutes to hours to empty its spooler.
I'm ex IT so have done all the obvious tests. It's almost as of there is an internal firewall stopping a spool command from seeing or waking up the printer.

Re: MY PRINTER IS CONNECTED BUT SAYING ITS OFFLINE
After my last post I had a think and came to the conclusion the SkyQ box was probably at fault. Physically unplugged it and my problem went away, plugged it back in and the problem returned. Whatever protocol or internal routing SkyQ is now using to talk to the router is interfering with printing (and I suspect a few years their issues like buggering on my phone) since they turned the box into a WiFi repeater.

Re: MY PRINTER IS CONNECTED BUT SAYING ITS OFFLINE
@Forestwalker I believe it is something to do with the Sky Q mesh, as it's known to cause issues of devices not appearing on a network with things such as multi room audio equipment too like Sonos et al, when they connect to the Q boxes as opposed to the main router, which is well documented. I bet if you tried it with the Sky boxes switched off and only the router on that it would print perfectly ok.
I bet your printer is connecting the WiFi of a Q box and not the main router.
I'm not suggesting the solution is to unplug the Sky boxes every time you print, but that's most likely where the issue stands. Is it feasible to cable the Sky Q boxes so you could disable the mesh, assuming you don't use the boxes to spread WiFi around the property?

Re: MY PRINTER IS CONNECTED BUT SAYING ITS OFFLINE
JPR, nope, printer is wirelessly attached to the router whilst SkyQ is in another part of the house with a Devolo WiFi/network port extender. My house has 2' thick slate walls and the TV, Amp, Sky box are outside the main house in a "newer" extension.
Turning the Sky box off and the problem is no more (so at least I can print). I might see if I can turn off the Sky mesh as I don't need it especially as it is causing problems.

Re: MY PRINTER IS CONNECTED BUT SAYING ITS OFFLINE
@Forestwalker Dont forget unless the Sky Q boxes are cabled, if you turn the mesh off they will all break, as they create there own mesh for streaming between boxes.
