Linking broadband & glass account purchased under the same email address

Hi, wondered if anyone could help? I have had sky glass for a while & have just purchased sky broadband. I used the same email address when purchasing broadband however it has given me a new acc number and asking me to set up a new id.  I spoke to sky and they said that the accounts cannot be merged and to use a different email address.  I do have another email address but this was used for a sky id for skyQ a long time ago.  Is there  a way of merging accounts or adding broadband order to my old sky id used for the old skyQ?  Its so frustrating that this has happened & that I now cant go online to track my order etc.  Hope that makes sense & hope someone can help! Thanks in advance.

There isn't, but if you login to that old account you used for Sky Q and remove the email address from the account then it should free it up allowing you to use it with the new account for broadband.
