Latest sky hub/ router

Hi

just got latest sky hub/ router and my exsisting phone will not work  bought a voip phone ( gigaset) but cannot get this to connect to base or phone   Can anyone advise me on which phone to get so it will connect I have come from BT which had no problem in connecting a phone to the router/ hub

@Scraffy  A VOIP Phone won't work with Sky's voip, you need a dedicated provider for that.

 

A normal/standard phone plugged until the UK phone port of the router will work fine on it's own.

 

Is there a Voice light on the front of of the hub?  Is this lit up?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I've tried the exsisting house phone which I plugged into the socket on the back of the sky router and the phone won't work

That would certainly result in a phone plugged into the Hub not working...
