Hi @Oliveava

Sky Q doesn't need a landline but according to Google Sky broadband does.

Can I get Sky broadband without a landline? No, all Sky broadband packages, whether they're standard broadband, superfast fibre or ultrafast, require you to take a landline too.

Hi @Oliveava   If you mean a calling plan, then no.

Edit: Sorry that may not be true, I was thinking about BT.

The lowest tier of Sky Talk (which is bundled with Sky Broadband) is PAYG, so if it's not used there's no call charges.  The physical connection (copper wire or optical cable) is required to carry the broadband signal: Sky does not deliver internet by satellite.  In theory there's a 'landline rental' component of the broadband subscription, but in practice this is just part of the standard monthly charge.
