The link also says "Want to check the end date of your Sky TV contract? Go to Your package."

If anyone knows what to do to find it after clicking on that link I will admit they are cleverer than I am.

There are a few ways to do this including using a messaging service as you can see via the Yes button at the bottom of this page:

So select "Yes I still need help".

@K+toddy+77 Firstly Sky don't do payment plans. If you are in arrears you can't cancel your subscription until you've paid in full. Sky normally require full payment of the outstanding balance and also the setting up of a new continuous payment method before they consider reinstating your services. If you’re 2 or more weeks in arrears you will also have to pay the next bill, as this will have been generated by now. Depending on your previous payment history, if you are able to pay all but £25 of the outstanding amount Sky will usually reinstate your services and they’ll add the £25 to the following months bill.
It is unlikely Sky will respond to calls from you whilst you are in arrears.
Its always best to contact a company before your bill is due when you are struggling to pay them.

@K+toddy+77  To cancel the link has already been posted in this thread, however as you have an outstanding balance I doubt you'll be allowed to cancel until you pay off the balance in full.  Sky don't offer payment plans as has been posted by Sky Employees.

I'm a little puzzled.

As well as being able to cancel by Phone or In Writing, there is supposed to be a way of cancelling by filling in an online form. Below are the details of cancellation given in the Sky Q Terms and Conditions (downloaded from the Sky website 30 minutes before writing this post). Note - I had to replace the sky phone number with x's as the forum wouldn't let me make a post containing  a phone number

I'm beginning to think that this online form is a "mythical beast"

How to cancel: Any cancellation within this timeframe must be in accordance with this notice. You can cancel your Sky
order by:
1. Calling xxxxxxxxxxx (except to cancel Sky Box Office events ordered by phone where you should use the number you used to place your order);
2. Writing to Sky Subscribers Services Limited, PO Box 43, Livingston, West Lothian EH54 7DD; or
3. Visiting the “Help” section at sky.com, searching for ‘Cancel Sky TV’ and then completing the online
cancellation form.

You must give your name, customer account number, address, post code, telephone number and e-mail address to cancel your order. If you cancel in writing we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail.
