Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Dazzar51 if you mean that you have two external feeds onto your network with load balancing or similar that is likely to be the issue. Sky check the IP address the requests come from and one unit appearing to be on two networks is likely to cause security issues.
Stream/Glass is designed to work on simple home networks the further you go away from that model the more likely you are to have issues. I would check thst mtu is set to 1500 and any managed switches are set to allow jumbo frames. A lot of this guess work as Sky dont document this stuff.

Just to update on my issues, I just spoke to a very nice support lady and we tried a forced update, which unfortunately did not help. She has now raise something for the back office team to force some kind of update on my account, and someone will contact me next week to follow up.
One thing I have just found though - if I tether the pick to my mobile connection (only 20Mbps and terrible latency!) everything works perfectly. As soon as I then then switch back to my broadband (500Mbps and latency <100ms), it again refuses to play any of the Sky 'on demand' content. So it definitely appears to be something it doesn't like with my broadband internet connection

How are you using your internet , are you using a mesh system also what provider, might have the answer

No this is not the case the tv is only connected to one provider , I use two , I logged into the other one to see if it was the provider it was currently with and it was not, it still had the problem. I have though resolved it myself, no help from sky or the provider,

@Dazzar51 I'm having the same issues with 900mb broadband and mesh network, no problem to stream 4K content via apps on glass but live tv and sky on demand suffers with freezing and 'wait for programme to load' messages. i experience the issue over Ethernet and Wi-Fi, would be interested to hear how you managed to solve the problem?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt would be interesting to know which ISP you all use - I gave a 35mb connection with sky and have not experienced any of these issues
anecdotaly and creasing between the lines I would say I've seen similar posts from users using virgin media ?

I have narrowed down my issues to the ISP - I have 5g broadband via Three; if I tether though my (Vodafone) mobile, everything works fine... but if I put the Three SIM in my phone to tether via that, the issue comes back.
There are almost no settings on my router with regards the 5g, so I'm hoping sky can do something their end. I have no connectivity issues with any other application or device in my apartment.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI've noticed occassionally these messages where it says waiting for program to load then goes back to the homepage. Honestly i'm not sure if that is down to internet or if it's down to the Pucks themselves.

@Jabez1 Did you manage to resolve this issue?

Previously I had my mesh in bridge mode, when I took that off it all worked again, with no problems, tonight though it's co e back , so my work around seems to have failed.
