Just cancelled but want back in!!

Hi, we have just cancelled with Sky have been a customer for 9 years on both TV & Broadband however the cost was escalating and they couldn't give a decent discount.. We've moved to BT however still in our cancellation period and really not enjoying it! 

 

Am trying to move back to Sky but if I reg as a new customer it says we still exist and when I try to upgrade our package online it says to call which I've done but on hold for over an hour then the line gets cut off??!!  

 

Has anyone had experience of returning to sky within a cooling off period and what the best way is to do it??

@Rosepetal81  As you have only recently cancelled the system will stll see you as an active customer, you only become a new customer after 12 monghs being away.  If you want to resubscribe you're going to have to call Sky to do this.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
