Since this morning my Netflix content is blocked by them because they suspect I am using VPN or Proxysoftware. I contacted Netflix and they refer to the ISP, Sky in this case. Although I am pretty certain that Netflix does the blocking based on my IP address they insist that I contact the ISP. Even on the Netflix suggested link (fast.com) I do see the correct geo location where I am situated. As per their conclusion this would mean that Sky needs to contact them. Which to me seems the world up-side-down. Please advice how to get out of this catch-22.

Try turning your router off for more than 1/2 hour to obtain a new public ip address. It could be netflix are blocking an ip range based on a range of ip addresses
Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 55 inch uhd tv, with Dolbyvision, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21
If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me
If I say something you like give a thumbs up

Thanks @cookiemonsteruk , will try. For sure Netflix would be doing so but it seems ridiculous to me that they blame the ISP and refer to them for a solution. I appreciate that Netflix blocks VPN and Proxy but they should just ensure they are only blocking just that - you do noty want to know the arrogant tone they dosplayed when reaching out to them. Will try your suggested approach and update here later.

But for Netflix to tell you to contact sky without telling what to say is unsatisfactory. I am assuming they want you to contact sky and ask them to release your public ip. But switching the router off (at this time of night) may take 45 minutes before someone else picks up your ip is the best way

I have tried what you, @cookiemonsteruk, suggested and ended up having a IPv4 IP address now instead of the IPv6 one I had yesterday. It did the trick. Now having the proper content again. Thanks for the advice. I'd still argue that Netflix should have accepted the previous IP address but at least, for now, solved....
