I have been with Sky for years and agreed a new 12 month contract for £78 per month and they are taking £83 per month from my account.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt might be that the £83 bill had already been created when you agreed this discount with them, so what should happen if this is the case that the following months bill should see you being charged £78 and it should be back dated to the date you spoke to Sky so that bill might be even cheaper due to this. Have you checked next months bill, it might take a few weeks to update but is worth keeping an eye on.

Yes i have checked next months bill and they are still taking £83 from my account. I did agree a discount and they have not applied it to my account.

I agreed the reduced price of £78 in Dec 21 with a new 12 month contract and nobody has contacted me to say it will be going upto £83 per month.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThere was a price rise on 1st April which has to be taken into account as while you agreed a discount the list price of your package can increase and that appears what has happened here as the terms and conditions allows this to happen. You would have been told of the April price increase by letter or email.
