If this one of your first 2 bills then they will be higher than the monthly amount quoted.

Reason is bills cover periods longer than one month because you are charged monthly in advance and a bill will include a period already used.

If future bills are at the expected level then it is almost certainly correct.

Your confirmation mail (now the picture has been moderated) adds up to £64.

@Sarahneil25

If you are a new customer or recently renewed @PandJ2020 is correct. Your first couple of Sky bills are normally higher than you expected due to the date period they cover, so in effect you’ll be charged from the date you started your subscription up to the end of that billed month, and for the next month in advance as all Sky billing is for a month in advance. A bill could also include admin charges as new or newly renewed deals usually include a £10 admin fee (per discount) which will also increase your payment. Check your future bills to see if they match up to the amount you are expecting. This link will help explain

By the way, once you have gone through two billing cycles you can change your payment date to one that suits better if you want.

Hi

Thankyou for you replies.

I forgot to mention that I don't have broadband as they couldn't fit this in my area, they let me know this once i had confirmed my package, so my bill should only be £44.

Thanks

Check your bills (and future bills) and see what you've been billed for.  I suspect the additional amount is the combination of installation charges and a period longer than a month as I explained above.
