Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou can't use a magic eye with Sky Q I'm afraid. If you want Sky in another room you need to order yourself a Sky Q mini and if you haven't already get a multiscreen sub added to your account.

Thanks. Do you have to have a sky Q mini for each room that you want sky in??

Oh right I see and are you charged a multiroom sub for each individual mini. Or is one multiroom sub charge for up to 4?? Thanks

Yes.
The alternative might be to use an HD modulator such as this to distribute the output from your main Sky Q box via your existing coax cabling. You would need to do some research, and it's not a setup that Sky would provide support for.

One subscription covers all minis @Muze
You can have up to four installed but can only watch two simultaneously in conjunction with the main Q box.
With the original 1 TB non UHD box you can only watch one mini at a time

Thank you. For your help

@Muze Mini boxes are easy to move so if you only ever want to watch sky in one other room at a time I might be tempted to do that. You will still need the multi room sub but will save you on the ' £50 Admin fee per minibox'.
