How do I access itv on sky q main box

Welcome to Q forum 

Local channel regions depend on your Postcode and cannot be changed.

You can manually add extra channels.

There's an option in 'Settings' for 'Manual Tuning' where individual transmission details can be input, and that's also where they are selected to view: entries there won't populate the EPG.

As stated above, if you are not in a region where ITV is listed in the EPG then it can be added and accessed through the manual tuning process, but this is deliberately non-user-friendly as it's effectively a way of getting around broadcasting regulations to receive services which shouldn't really be there.

These ITV regional channels are there and should be there but unlike BBC regions because of advertising are not on the epg.

I believe ITV isn't available via EPGs in Eire, which is typically why people request such information here.

When I get as far as "Manual Tuning" on my Samsung TV

I'm not given an option to add a channel. I'm trying to get ITV 1 and 2.

You need to be using the Q remote and the Settings menu on the Q box, not anything on the television.

Settings - Manual tuning - Add a channel - input channel specific fields - Find channel - Save channels

To view the channel(s) added you have to go back to Settings - Manual Tuning: they won't appear in the EPG

It seems that UTV on SkyQ in Ireland is now gone though ITV is still available.
