Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
Find the omission of this really frustrating. I used to happily half watch something of minor interest waiting on maybe live sport or a favourite programme to start. Bring it back please.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
I tried to re-install my Sky+HD box after having Sky Q fitted, but because they changed the dish and LNB it wont work. I rang them to ask if there's any way round this and they just said no. They don't give a monkey's once you're signed-up.
Next step is to get a LNB off of Ebay that suits my old receiver box and try that.
I'll see out this contract with Sky and then bin them I think.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
If I had known there was no reminder option I would not have changed the box, what a stupid decision to make, not everyone wants to record and not everyone can remember when every programme starts
come on sky get it sorted

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
I put something like this. Vary it every week. If we all do it week in week out they'll get sick enough to engage.
@skytv my weekly “reminder” that we want our features back please. https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Q-Ideas/Have-a-reminder-function-for-programmes/idi-p/3083110 thank you. See you next week.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
Much like many, I am quite annoyed to have found out this function was not available until after installation of sky q. The reminder function was extremely useful for older users, such as myself.
Memory may not be great, busy day and all that. Sit of an evening watching something, I rely on the functionality to notify me / to 'remind' me something I had wanted is to start

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
Yes I agree that not having a reminder it is a backward step Thought that Q would be an upgrade and have more useful features not less

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
Utter madness theres no reminder button, i really miss it from the sky+ box. The sky Q box is supposed to be superior right???
Suggestion - in the next software upgrade, make it available
Many thanks Sky, believe in better

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
Like I have said before there is probably no chance the Sky will take any notice of these comments assuming that anybody from Sky actually reads these.
I now set up reminder from my iPhone using the Alexa App for single reminders and for repeats so I never miss a program. This works very well but would be better to have it as part of the Sky package.

Re: Have a reminder function for programmes
Your right sky don't give a **bleep** as long as we pay every month. That's why I'm going back to virgin as soon as I can.
