@picasso10 I've been trying to force update to 160 since it was announced with no luck, just tried today and it's worked - I'd recommend forcing an update is the first thing you do when you get home tonight!

@Chodley wrote:@Q-tips Yeah that's completely different from what was fixed in q160.
wifi interference maybe since it only happens on a mini? Looks very odd.
How different? Q160 was described in this forum as a fix for pixelation glitches in both live view and recordings, as well as a fix for audio dropouts in recordings.
It's not a wi-fi issue as my Q system is hard-wired, with wi-fi turned off in the hidden menu.

I had to do the full front button update procedure this morning to get Q160 (not using the user software interface).
Disconnect power to Q box completly. Then with TV on, and correct HDMI port selected. Hold the front LED button on the box in and keep it pressed whilst powering back up and waiting until the updating message is displayed on the TV. You can then let go of the button. This update procedure can take well over 15 minutes to complete....

@Kei+M Yes, I've just done a complete power cycle. Still shows Q150.

@cjk09 good to know, but it's not good if we're being told it's available to all and the one's that are still on Q150 can't force a Q160 update, let's hope someone from sky reads this and can correct the issue.

Try tomorrow if no luck call Sky, if its on the DR stream it should update with no issue, unless maybe there is a problem at skys end at the moment.

Must be on the naughty step. Finally arrived sometime during the night. Haven't had a chance to hear the difference yet.

You'll love it. Really. I'm dropout free, and have been for weeks now. I'm even finding the sound quality better overall (my AV amp is picking up sound quality from the Q box that I didn't have before). Maybe I'm dreaming.
There are a lot of members here reporting pixelation and other sound issues. I'm happy to say I don't have any of those issues at all.
I hope your experience matches mine.

@PD-123 did a front button plug in power re-start and hay presto we are now on Q160 watched Disney + no dropouts, so now for some more testing but very pleased so far 🙌🏻

Managed to get the software updated manually yesterday afternoon. Watched first recorded program last night and got one sound drop out, nothing in the next two shows so hopefully a one off
