@oldfella @Dave+Hatton @nigea99 Hi guys. I have a Netgear EX7700 range extender next to my Main Q in the bedroom eradicating what once was a WiFi deadzone. This connects wirelessly to my VM hub 4.0 1Gb in the living room, giving me phenomenal WiFi speed. I was hoping I could connect an Ethernet cable between the main Q and EX7700, thus effectively connecting 'directly' (kinda) to the VM hub 4.0 and then set up minis as per comments above. Is this feasible?
Cheers
Best thing to do is try it @Ian196

Re: Going from Ethernet back to WiFi connection
I agree with @oldfella give it a try.
That said, I found when using range extenders or ethernet over power (powerline) that the SKYQ network packets for service discovery caused the extenders/powerline boxes to crash. The packets are not formed as expected.
Good luck though.

@Dave+Hatton @oldfella @nigea99 SOLVED! After trawling forums, trying your suggestions etc. I discovered this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7jA54B04YI.
So I put my VM hub into modem mode. I've used a spare NETGEAR WAC124 ac2000 router to connect to hub via Ethernet cable to get the router closer to the main Sky Q box (cable discreetly hidden so no trip hazard). Then connected a Sky booster directly to the router via Ethernet cable. Master reset the booster. When all 3 green lights were green, I connected main Sky Q and mini via WPS. All now connected to SKYXXXXX mesh. Been faultless for 24hrs now.
Hopefully this will help others that are being driven round the bend by Sky Q.
Cheers for your comments.
