Force Download / Update Sky Glass ....

Hey. Here's another tip for you all. 

Hope it helps ! 

Turn your Sky Glass off at the mains then while holding the power on button on the side of the Tv / on the bottom of your PUCK turn the mains back on then when you see the Red LED light on the front of the TV or the White LED on the underside of the PUCK flashing then release the button. Once you see a white logo on your Glass screen or connected screen of your PUCK then press and hold the power button again for at least 10 seconds and release and then follow the instructions.

If you get into any trouble when trying to force download software to either your Sky Glass or Sky Puck then go to this Web  link .....

for the latest Sky Glass  software release dates and info.

  

 

 

You will then have to go to your My Sky account and package information and pair your Sky Glass or Sky Puck with your Sky account. ( please be aware that you will loose all your saved play lists, settings and you will have to sign into any and all of your third party apps ).

• The kink is ..... you must be signed into your online account .....

And then go through your set up routine again and job done. ( I must stress you should ensure your Sky Glass / Sky Puck IS CONNECTED TO A STABLE FIX BROUDBAND CONNECTION if possible use an Ethernet cable if your Wifi signal is not strong or stable / you have many devices , more than 4 , connected and you do this at your own risk. If your not " technical minded " then I advise you not to do this unless your absolutely confident. )
