Faulty Sky Q box swap by courier
A Sky engineer has organised a SkyQ box exchange, as mine has stopped working ,through DPD . Should I expect an email telling me when it is arriving, or will it just turn up? I was told 2 working days and that is up today.

In any case if they are using DPD is it normally next day delivery.

If such an exchange has been booked, you need to have the existing box unplugged and ready to go, as couriers are instructed not to hand over the new one unless they have the old one in their posession. If it's a main Q box, remember to remove the viewing card from the old box as you'll require that to activate the replacement unit.

No I didn't receive an email confirming it. Didn't think to ask, after being on phone for an hour and a 1/2 at halfpast 10 at night.
