I recently had ultrafast plus installed and whilst I'm getting around 500Mbps down, the BT wholesale site says my line is capable of speeds up to 1Gbps.
Is sky limited in the speeds they can deliver or am I missing something?

Sky just haven't introduced 1Gbps yet and show no signs of rolling it out yet

@jamesn123 - yeah I would presume there would be a price increase, no doubt about that. Just wanted to understand whether sky had the capacity to utilise the speeds currently or not.

Sky just choose not to purchase wholesale 900/100 yet. It's worth noting that the physical strand of fibre is potentially capable of handling multi-gigabit speed: typically it's the chipset in the hardware at each end which tops-out at gigabit.

You'll have to buy me a drink first ; )
We've just had a three-van Openreach site survey to establish there are in fact no ECCs or additional lead-time for service over infrastructure which they themselves installed last year. I guess they were bored down at the depot.
