4K Universe

Insight UHD

and heaven forbid QVC UHD etc. 

However it is down to the channel owners to bring these to the UK, it would be be nice to get some of these.

The commentary sound was fixed correctly for the end of the Womens race.
It then failed again for the Tennis and we had the on screen message once again.
For the end of the tennis it was restored, but it was slightly out of sync.
Looks good so far for the swimming now, 

For when it fails I'm using the Discovery + stream on a tablet through a Soundbar with the HDR picture.
Perfectly in sync.

Didn't say they were UHD streams didn't want the banner obstructing my viewing experience each too their own I guess.

Watched London 2012 in HD same viewing  experience but with the added bonus I was actually there for both Summer Olympics and Paralympics.

It's a bizarre service, sometimes it's the same feed as the HD channel, sometimes it's a completely different sport. This morning had MTB then slalom canoeing on HD, but tennis on UHD.  Is there any UHD content from the BBC ?

There are a number of shows available to stream in UHD with HLG HDR on iPlayer. Just not on the Sky Q version of iPlayer. And not any Olympics coverage.

@Bernard23  iPlayer did this for Wimbledon, I think they were plans to show the Olympics in UHD on iplayer but the BBC decided it would be too costly to get a UHD stream up & running from Tokyo.

No weirder than BBC are not showing any HDR in the Olympics. HLG BBC NHK.

I am in no way having a go at Sky Q on this I have now got Sky Q HDR, granted you could do with more programming, but what's there is a fair picture.

The BBC had many main court matches at Wimbledon 2021 and many of the the Men's Euro football matches June-July 2021 in HDR HLG.

Not aware the BBC did have any plans for HDR coverage for this Olympics.
Certainly was not listed in any of the rights agreements I saw. But they have mentioned recently that they have no additional HDR plans upcoming, re their recent cutbacks.

As part of the current Olympics rights;
 The BBC can show a maximum of two live events at one time, through one television channel and a second feed provided through the red button service and/or online.

The BBC is no longer able to offer livestreams of every sport during the Olympics due to the terms of the rights arrangements that were made as part of the current rights holder, Discovery.

Watching the men's TT, the commentary is working fine, there is no banner apologising for no commentary but the stream is freezing every ten mins or so. Having to revert back to to HD and reselect UHD again...

Just me that thinks the Eurosport 4k looks pretty sub-par? Nowhere near as good as the iplayer offerings over Wimbledone or the Euros.

@cremeegg  Looks as good if not better than Wimbledon over iplayer.  I would check your TV's settings and turn off any HDR+ mode if there is one.
