Sometimes it feel like this place is just one big echo chamber and Sky doesn't give a damn what anyone here thinks.

Re: Sky Nevermiss

Well if you're with Sky odds are you watch a lot of TV and never miss made it feasible to keep track of the many shows you watch, i bet I've missed a bunch of shows without even knowing

Re: Why has Sky Never Miss been removed?

Never miss out

There's an even better way to know when new series begin or return from a break, and when classic movies and box-office hits are on TV.

> On Sky Q, simply select Home and then TV Guide, and scroll up to New Series to find the shows recommended for you.

> On Sky+, select New Series from the Top Picks area.

What a load of rubbish! how is top picks better than selecting specific shows and getting an email 7 days before the air date!

What a load of rubbish! they are having a laugh if they think a tiny selection of shows on that pick service comes even close to replacing never miss.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

i have a lot of tv shows i follow and without never miss it'll be next to impossible to keep track of them and i don't see the ad's telling me they're returning because i record stuff and fast forward through the ads

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

inconveinence doesn't even begin to describe it! this removal is literally going to ruin my tv watching experience! how do i know if the gadget show has come back? maybe hawaii five-0 will have been on for 7 episodes before i spot its returned! or maybe I'll forget all about that new show coming next year, calling it an inconveinence is like saying to a footballer its inconveinent you just lost both your legs.

Re: Sky Nevermiss

bet its only any good for a tiny fraction of shows from an arbitrary list! what if i want a reminder for when graham norton returns or winterwatch? or mastercher the professionals?

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

I used Nevermiss to track when films I was wanting to watch were on, now I have to trawl through TV listings! This may have been covered but WHY has it been removed, surely it wasn't costing SKY much (if anything) to maintain it?

It has been covered multiple times - all Sky will say is that it was removed 'for business reasons' and that there's no possibility of it being reinstated. Beyond that, we can only speculate.

Thanks @Mark39, saved me trawling through all the posts! Bad decision by Sky...

Annoying as it is we can all use it the next time we phone up at renewal time, just some more ammo to get some money off your sub
