Re: Epgservices sky never miss
But if you don't know when your favourite series is returning & it's something pretty obscure like Great British Sewing Bee or Landscape Artist of the Year, you'd have to do a search every week for every single show until it's on in the next week as those shows are never going to show up in the Top Picks. It's damn annoying.
BTW, I use https://www.episodate.com/ . Previously just to find out when US shows are starting over there but it also does British shows so I'll have to try & set up my UK shows on there if I can remember them all! It's easy to use, just a faff to set it all up.

Re: Can't find page to enter never miss programmes please help me !!!!
The Sky discission to cancel 'Never Miss' has to be one of the worst ever that Sky have made.
It was a really easy service to use, search, set and rely on.
A truely helpful service to the subsciber, that no doubt helped to ensure the viewers would return to watch the next series on Sky, and be less likely to stray to the many other alternative TV providers.
One can't help but wonder what on Earth Sky were really thinking, assuming they had considered the possible consequences.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Sky aren't publicising why it was removed, other than to say it was a 'business decision'.
I've repeatedly asked SKY for a better explanation but they always reply that it was a "business decision", they refuse to accept that, that is not an acceptable answer and they can't understand that the lack of a real reason is adding to the anger people feel

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
I use Geektown to help find programs and start dates. I used to use it along side sky never miss. I'm so disappointed with sky. Maybe it's time I moved on.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
I've reverted to using the New Series section of the Sky+ app which is of at least some help.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
I asked the question about never miss. But like all companies they decide to do things without consultation. I believe that if it's not broke do not fix it. Sky new option appears to be programmes the want you to watch so I believe they are being paid by the show ie advertise us and we will pay you a bonus

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
If the new series on Sky Q showed all the new series then it would be useful.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
The removal of Sky Never Miss is an absolute disgrace. They have summarily taken away the manner in which I record all of my programmes on Sky. When any family or friends have asked me about Sky TV previously I have always raved about how good this feature is. Now there seesm to be no good option to record series. When you visit the Never Miss Section, it states:
There's an even better way to know when new series begin or return from a break, and when classic movies and box-office hits are on TV.
> On Sky Q, simply select Home and then TV Guide, and scroll up to New Series to find the shows recommended for you.
> On Sky+, select New Series from the Top Picks area.
Anyone who has taken a look at the 'Top Picks' area on Sky+ will soon discover that there is absolutely NOTHING there to assist you in recording your programmes, merely 7 items available to 'rent'. As far as I am concerned, this has undermined the very basis of the contract which I have with Sky TV. I have cancelled my direct debit and written a letter of compalint, it having proved impossible to make contact with them in any other way. I appreciate that there is a CV pandemic but I'm sure this had nothing to do with the removal of Never Miss and in any event, other companies such as amazon are able to continue with effective customer communication. For me to have to write a letter to a media company shows what a total shambles there are. Shoddy, very shoddy!

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
@NicholasJA cancelling your direct debit is pointless and unwise. It puts you in immediate breach of contract. Despite all the messaging, Sky have been and still are taking calls from all customers, vulnerable or not.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Noted Mark and thanks, I accept that my response was to some degree borne out ot frustration. I had gone to the contact us section on Sky where it says unambiguously, ‘Please Don’t Contact Us At This Time’. So I found an email address for Sky Customer Services via google and emailed them my complaint but this resulted in the following auto-response:
‘Thanks for your email – we have updated our service and need you to raise your request via our website.
So in the end I wrote a physical letter of complaint and cancelled my direct debit.
Under the terms and conditions of my contact it states that:
'Sky will use all reasonable skill and care to ensure the quality of the Services.'
My view is that they have removed the primary means that I have of recording programmes, without any prior communication or even notification of having done so, I therefore contend that they are in breach of contract as they have absolutely failed in their promise to ensure the quality of the services.
We'll see what happens.

Re: Can't find page to enter never miss programmes please help me !!!!
Apalled to find out today that Sky Never Miss has been abandoned by Sky It was an excellent tool that automatically gave me reminders of all my favourite series when a new season was a week away from starting .
Today I have tried all sorts of alternatives as suggested on this site and others. TVTime was the nearest but appears to be geared up for the US market and not the UK. For instance it was saying that series 9 of Mountain Men was currently showing on Sky History. NOT in the UK when I checked.
Very disapointing that SKY just remove an excellent app /tool with no warning or advising on a suitable alternative for the UK market.
