Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Despite the delabitated look the service worked and I found it very helpful  surfacing movies I had heard about.

At the very least a warning email should have been sent, to give us chance to make a copy of our list, or better still have included our list in the email.

I had a long 'wish list' of films built up over many years and now it has vanished, I want a copy of my list!

Re: Can't find page to enter never miss programmes please help me !!!!

I am gutted at the cancellation of this service. I found it incredibly helpful. I don't understand how it's disappeared so quickly either. I'm sure I last used it at the weekend. Not the best idea you've ever had Sky.com would hope it could be reinstated at some point.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

It wasn't as reliable as it should've been, and definitely needed some work, but i made heavy use of the Never Miss service. It was my only reason for visiting Sky's website. Very unhappy it's been removed.

Does anyone know of an alternative website with a similar service?

They want you to use Top Picks/New Series features of your sky box or sky+ app on mobile, there is no web replacement

But the Top Picks - New Series function doesn't provide the same service as Never Miss did

Yep, Never Miss is set it and forget it, their "replacement" needs you to check all the time, making NM vastly superior in my opinion.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Really unhappy that this has gone, the replacement does not have any where near the flexibility of  Sky Never Miss. Where is my list of films and TV series i had added? I Put them in so i didn't have to remember them now i have to and use there poor replacement. Was there any warning that this was going to be removed?

It's definitely been removed and unlikely to return, I can't give you the reason but take my word for it when I say the actual reason is quite pathetic

@Annie+UK  No they have mucked up, perhaps however deliberate.

I feel a new sarcastic idea post coming on.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

perhaps they've removed it so that customers who used it, rather than waiting for a movie they want to see showing up freely viewable, have to buy or rent the movie?

If so, there's surely an opportunity for someone to invent an app that replicates what sky never miss used to do for us

The Oracles were given a heads up on the removal a little while ago, so we know the reasoning behind the decision

Never miss

Has the Never miss service been disabled, or will this be restored at some point?

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Hi Annie,

Devastated to not be able to use the Never Miss service as it was so helpful! For upcoming new films as well as old classics which can be shown at all sort of random times on multiple channels - Sky Greats/Classic/Select/Talking Pictures/Film4/BBC Two/etc.

Can't understand why such a useful service has been removed (hopefully temporarily) - I always assumed it was a useful tool for Sky also to gauge the interest in films, old and new, to count up how many reminders had been set and to then perhaps license the film to show on one of the Movie channels.

Please give me hope that Never Miss will be reinstated and Sky seriously aren't expecting viewers to scan every single channel listing every day.
