Has the Never miss service been disabled, or will this be restored at some point?

At the moment, there's no intention to bring it back.

Spoiler
I wonder why they can't be bothered to share their reasoning with us mere mortals? It would be nice to know why the decision was made....

Hi Annie,

Please give me hope that Never Miss will be reinstated and Sky seriously aren't expecting viewers to scan every single channel listing every day.

They do expect you to scan the new series's and movie premieres 🙁 and the signs are that never miss will not be returning

This is just one more nail in the coffin for broadcast TV for me, I have move 90% of my viewing to YouTube and is much more user friendly

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Well thank you all for all the information you have posted it seems some knew it was happening but sky could not be bothered to tell all users nothing for loyalty

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

They might have given us some warning that they were going to terminate it, so that we could make a note of the films that we had requested!

Perhaps they only want us watch the things they  choose...

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

I've used the Never Miss facility for years, over a decade, and it's been incredibly useful for knowing when new and old films and shows are airing.

Does anyone know of a similar website online anywhere, where you can enter in films and TV shows to receive email notifications when they're scheduled to air?

Otherwise, might just have to go old school and start buying the Radio Times, which will be a lot easier to quickly scan than the Sky EPG listings.

I've found the Tv Time app, which is a similar kind of service.

Thanks Sandy! I'll search and try it out.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

thanks @Sandy+Smyth , I think i'll give  the TV Time app a go and see if it works for me. If only there was a way to get a list of the films and TV series I had in Sky Never Miss. 😠

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

I am so annoyed that the Never Miss service has disappeared.  It is ridiculous that Sky want us to search for programs all the time, rather than add them to Never Miss and forgot about until we got an email.  Let us not forget that it doesn't include an old series we missed which is being repeated, so is far from "an even better way"

I don't find it helpful that the Oricle keeps saying that the reasons for removing this service is pathetic, but it being a big secret.  Also that they were told and had a chance to check their list before it was taken away.

I keep getting emails telling me I am a VIP and how valued I am, well I don't feel valued now.

Bring back Never Miss
