Damaged satalite dish
My neighbours satalite dish has been hanging off the wall for the last 2yrs and bangs constantly in the wind at side of my bedroom window,I've been round to her on a few times but obviously don't listen so I'm reporting this on here as no matter what number I ring to sky I can't get through because I'm not a sky customer, somebody please help me.

Re: Damaged satalite dish
@Seano45 You won't be able to report someone elses dish, Sky won't do anything as it is not your dish.
You also can't report sucgh issues via a public forum as no one will know who you are or where you live.
If the dish is a nuisance/dangling thenspseak to the local council as it is your neighbours responsibility it's not Sky's.

Re: Damaged satalite dish
Hi @Seano45 To be clear your neighbour owns the dish, not Sky. A bit like expecting terrestrial TV companies to take responsibility for your neighbour's TV aerial.

Re: Damaged satalite dish
@Seano45I am afraid it is up to your neighbour to sort out, it may not even be a Sky dish. It is obviously not in use. If it is mounted on your property just remove it, it seems very close to be hitting your window if it is mounted on your neighbour's property.

Re: Damaged satalite dish
It's worth noting that Sky satellite television contracts specifically transfer ownership of the dish to the householder when it's installed so that Sky don't have to deal with such issues years (or decades) later.
