Constant Remote Network Fail Error When Downloading

I'm starting to get seriously fed up of this error when trying to download anything from a series or a movie, My partner is currently watching all the Chicago Fire, MD, PD and all day had tried to download the entire series 7 of CPD.

And all day she's got the Remote Network Fail on every episode, I even tried to download a few documentries I even got the error. I have KCOM Fibre because in Hull where I live you can't get any other company I have a 400mbps connection and my router is right next to the main Sky Q box via the wifi connection.

I don't have it on ethernet because I have 2 Sky Mini boxes as well and they share its own MESH connection, I've found forums with the error from 2 to 3 years ago,.

Hi @TashPra 

No reason at all why you cannot connect the Main Q box by Ethernet.

As you have minis it just means that you have to leave the Q box WiFi on.

So just connect the Ethernet cable between box and router and carry out a Network reset in the main Q box.

Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect wired to 3rd party router.  Do not carry out out any WPS and just wait until the box connects.

The main Q box WiFi will still be on so the Q WiFi mesh is available to connect the minis by WPS to the main Q box.

You may have to do the Network reset on the minis and follow instructions.

Ethernet cable is not the issue. Mine has always been wires. Just recently received a new hdr box and mine is doing it on most episodes of sopranos. I've tried other stuff and it's mainly the watch now programs. The money I pay every month the service needs to be rectified yet nothing will happen as it has been happening for a fair while now to alot of others with
