Connect iPhone to SkyQ box

As soon as you open the Sky Go app (ensure you log in to the app), it should automatically find the Sky Q box, and show a Q Recordings button in the bottom right corner of the app.

I recently had my Sky Q Box installed and I couldn't screen mirror or stream apps from my iPad to my tv via Airplay. 

I checked the tv connection settings and noticed the tv was no longer connected to Wi-Fi. I assume the Sky engineer connects just the Q box to the Wi-Fi and disconnects the tv.

Anyway, as soon as I connected the smart tv to my Wi-Fi network then screen mirroring and Airplay work fine.

Hi, I want to play music from my iPhone through my sky q mini box. It's only picking up the main box though. Can anyone help please?

I've just tried my iPad to my sky q mini and it works fine. 

From the drop down speaker menu on your iPhone - have you chosen the correct mini box? 

If you go to settings on your mini box - then to system info - then look at the last 4 digits of the main serial number (exclude the last slightly separated number) then those 4 digits should match the number of the mini box listed on your iPhone ( if all that makes sense 🙂)

Hi @Elaine79x   Have you checked that you have enabled Allow music to be sent to this box?
