Connect Sky hd box to outside tv

Hi,

I wondered if it is possible to connect my sky hd box to an outside tv whilst leaving it connected to the tv in the living room? I have multiroom but don't want to move the existing boxes and wires that were installed.

the sky go app doesn't allow it to be cast to the tv like bt sport, Amazon prime etc.

if it is possible what sort of cabling is required?

thanks

Mark

@ROXY12345 Sky Go on a laptop can be connected via a HDMI cable. Probably the easiest way if it something you only want to do occasionally.

Thanks for the reply. I used to do this, but think my laptop is to old or not compatible anymore as you need to download an app as sky go doesn't work via browsers anymore.

In theory an HDMI splitter connected to the HDMI port of the Sky+ box and then a long length of HDMI cabling to the outside TV should be OK.
