Charged for Returned Items

I recieved a letter stating I would be charged £50 for non return of a wi-fi box which was not listed on their return list. Agreed to send back and clarified that if I sent prior to end of July 2021 I wouldnt be charged. Posted on the 19th of July via royal mail and delivered on 21st of July 2021. However, today my bank has a £50 pending charge against it despite the Items returned.
