Possibly not unconnected to their repeatedly being found in breach of broadcasting standards by Ofcom.
Awful! This channel makes FOX NEWS look like Play School! SKY HAVE BEEN TOO SLOW TO REMOVE THIS RACIST HATE CHANNEL!!!
Should have been taken of YEARS ago.
Its a hatemongering ultra biased chanell that has no place here in UK.
Channels either withdraw voluntarily or when Ofcom revokes their licence to broadcast, as happened with CGTN. It's not the place of a broadcast platform to decide who should and should not have access.
Thanks for the gen
I know of another big Indian chanell (ABP News) who pulled themselves out.
Is it possible to find out if and when licence of R Bharat in UK was cancled on occom website ??
There are couple of documents where Ofcom have fined R Bharat in 2019/2020.

Channels are more likely to jump before they are pushed, as Fox News did. If the owners consider they are likely to face Ofcom sanctions in the future, they can simply choose to withdraw from the broadcast sector before that happens.
Ofcom publish the results of any investigations on their website, and there's a search tool here:

Channel 708 was closed on 5 May 2021.
I have right to see any channel I wish to see and if i don't like any channel that doesn't mine that I can complain and stop the channel for others to viewers.
Please put back channel 708 on sky for the viewers who want to view R Bhart news.
regards,
Bhanu.

Actually you don't, if the channel contravenes UK broadcasting standards.
But the point here is that the channel was closed by the channel owner. Nothing to do with Sky.
