Cancellation

we have been trying to cancel our TV account for months now but can't get through to anyone! Can someoneplease advise the best way to do this? Contact info for sky is frankly shocking !!!

yes I have been on that page many times but no when you click on contact us no information loads. maybe you could post here if you can see it?

@niall346  The forum does not allow posting of numbers

 

Try clearing your browser cache, or use a different browser.

 

When you click the need mpre help you should see blus boxes with Message Us, Call us  etc, you need to click on the blue boxes.

 

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

If you choose the phone route to do this then just stay on the line for as long as you can, if you call using the 150 number via a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk landline phone then it is a free call. Otherwise it is a local rate call so will be free if you have free minutes with your phone provider.

You cant get through to someone - it's Sky's way of preventing cancellations.  I have had the same issue today and will be going to Ofcom.  Call centre agents hang up when you get past the automated system and then on online chat they don't answer.  Better deals at BT anyway.
