Can I keep mobile contracts if cancelling TV, Broadband and Phone?
Hi all
So I cant seem to find an answer and as is standard Sky make it as dificult as they possibly can to actually contact them. I want to cancel our TV, BB and phone with them as it is now topping £120 a month which is crazy. We also have two mobile contracts with them which are fine so are these just seperate and wont be affcted but the cancellation of the other services?
Many thanks

@Wonderer1981 Cancelling TV and broadband won't affect your mobile contracts.

Re: Can I keep mobile contracts if cancelling TV, Broadband and Phone?
Your Sky mobile is on a different account to your TV and Broadband so won't be affected.
Cancel TV
If you’re still in a minimum term deal you can’t usually cancel. If you are out of contract you need to contact Sky to reduce any part of your Sky TV package or cancel it completely giving the required notice of 31 days.
Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to a phone number. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one).
UK customer ~ it should include a Message Us option which is available between 9am and 7.30pm.
ROI customer ~ it’s only by ringing or writing in.
If you’re cancelling Sky Q don’t forget to keep you proof of posting indefinitely when you return the box(es) as Unipart are not quick at telling Sky you have sent equipment back.
Cancel BB and Talk
To cancel Sky broadband and Sky Talk totally or if you’re moving to Virgin you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you are changing to another provider who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.
You’ll need to return any loaned router to Sky, so again ensure you get proof of posting and keep it indefinitely.

Re: Can I keep mobile contracts if cancelling TV, Broadband and Phone?
Originally, you got a monthly £10 credit (for 'free' calls and texts) for Sky Mobile if you had a TV account. That has long gone.
Upon calling to cancel your TV/BB service they will put you through to retentions to try and get you to stay - it sounds like you are 'out of contract' so it may be worth negotiating with them if you want to stay at a better price.
