Hello,
Over the last couple of weeks I seem to be having issues loading pages. Sometimes it seems to just get stuck and you need to reload. I have done speed checks while this has happened and the internet is working. I used to get this trouble with three when I had them a couple of years back.Any ideas what is going on ?
I have FTTP ultrafast connected to a Tenda MW5 mesh .
Cheers

I have *exactly* this issue, also some secure pages just fail, its imposible to log into natwest online banking even though its fine on 4G. I have Amazon Echo devices and they randomly disconnect an issue i have never had either.
I've reset router (3 times) and still nothing. Sky have looked at it and insist there is no external issues even though NOTHING has changed in my home setup.
I do see regular loss of real world IP address via external DHCP failures and i'm convinced there are upstream issues with FTTP.
To be fair they are still looking into it , but i sense they are moving to the stock "too many devices" or "your internal network" excuse. It has left a bad taste in my mouth about Sky. Ultra fast was sold to me as great for a busy house, but i have issues when its just me at home with a coupe of idle echo devices and a handful of idle smart plugs. As soon as my lad uses his xBox things can rapidly turn mad, not sure of any of you have experienced a teenager with poor connectivity ?

Can you try with just the Sky hub connected? Its possible the issue is caused by the Tenda mesh system

@jamesn123 sorry turned into a rant because i'm at the end of my tether. However the thrust was i'm seeing a huge amount of upstream DHCP failures and i wondered if the OP sees the same. Could be a common thread to a common issue

No easy to disconnect the mesh and use the router as the coverage is not good. It just seems to be strange nothing has changed in my setup and it only seems to be the last few weeks its been a problem. Its also interesting that other people are having the issue so I would say it was OK for someone else to jump on this thread. I will reset everything and see what happens
Would only be for a short time to test.
One person coming on the thread to say they have a similar issue means nothing and usually these problems are completely unrelated. We would be seeing many many more posts on the forum about it if it were a common issue.

wouldn't have a clue if one hit me in the face 🙂 All I know is it doesn't work very well ATM.
How do I tell if I have these failures?

There were quite a lot of Google results when I searched for it though.
I know to tet properly I need unplug the Tenda its when and as the problem is intermittant and doesn't seem to depend on a particular website it might be inconclusive anyway. If it continues I will probably plug the laptop into the router and test it like that. Another anoying aspexct of the Sky router is there is no wifi on/off button.
Say if it was the Tenda what would be happening to cause the problem ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreA lot of things. A failure its the tendas networking, a mesh failure, WiFi congestion, a physical cable failure between the Sky hub & the tenda system. You introduce a lot more points of failure when using a 3rd party system
