Broadband down again

See post above about DNS, there is an easy workaround to get your computer browsing the internet again just fine by changing some settings in your computer's wifi connection.

Just replace the DNS server addresses and it's fine.

Mines the same in newark, notts.  3 green lights, no internet and sky system down too to check status.

Same here North West Wales. Seems UK wide.

I was just in the middle of finishing work at home as well. Had to use 4G personal Hotspot to get my work finished and sent! Hope it's back up and running by the time I get up in the morning.

Something wrong with my broadband can't watch sky. There is just 3 lights on green nothing on other one

How about giving your customers some compensation back for the service going down instead of keep just whacking up prices all the time

I've just checked nothing from the official Sky account. Lots of hacked off customers across the UK however....

Yup it's their DNS that is down, not the actual broadband, although for most users that might as well mean "the internet".

Resolving it as you have is not a novice task by any means.

Yup CH5 also down. Lights are in but no one is home. Very frustrating as it's been dropping in and out for days now as well

It would be nice to know. Here in Ealing, London it has been down for about 1 hour.
