@Deedee36 Yes, as far as we know officially

Re: Apple TV Due Today 14/12/21

It's coming today, and sky have issued the official documentation for it which wouldn't happen unless they were ready for a release.

Perhaps this afternoon, I assume it's just an app addition as opposed to a software update too?!

Well in that case for anyone interested that doesn't have an Apple TV subscription, and an lg tv in the house they are offering Apple TV free for 3 months on selected lg tvs that support the Apple TV app,I've just claimed mine and it works on my phone so I would guess it would only be a matter of logging on the app on glass with the same log in details??

@Deedee36  I would assume that is all you need to do.

I have an appleTV subscription so I am assuming on Sky Glass it will just be content ?

@Jayboy1990   What's the difference between the full app ?

I have apple tv on my apple tv box as an subscription I only use it to watch content and do searches, I assume that will be available via sky ?

@Anonymous Only subscription content is available in this version.  Not anything purchased through iTunes.

Hopefully, it will be complete with Dolby Vision and Atmos.  The Disney+ App is dissapointing at the moment as it does not have these, so we still watch it through our Apple TV.

@Anonymous  Yes it's supporting All the higher res images.

@Jayboy1990 @Joe-Bow - The page just says HDR (not Dolby Vision, I know Dolby Vision is HDR) and doesn't mention Atmos, I really hope it does have both.  Hopefully the Disney+ App will get updated soon.

But step four of the help guide shows an image of the series Acapulco that says 4K HDR. It would say 4K Dolby Vision if it was available (which it is on Acapulco on the Apple TV 4K box). Atmos is also missing.

I suspect it'll be limited to HDR10 in the same way Disney+ currently is on Glass.

@fizzdisco I agree, just looked on my phone and as you say it says Dolby Vision and Atmos, so I think it will be the basic version until they update it, which is a shame.

The best rule of thumb is, if you want Apple content in the best quality possible (4K, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, correct frame rate) just buy an Apple TV 4K box.
