Almost all Box Sets only available in HD

I've just gone on to box sets and almost all of the series are available in HD only and says I need to upgrade to watch them. I've had Sky Q now for a year and the settings have been changed to download in sd.  I can watch the same series on Sky Go so I am at a loss as to what to do as this has not been an issue before.

Re: Almost all Box Sets only available in HD

I have always had the settings as download in sd from the outset. I tried succession and it has the option to choose a format. In the subsection sc-fi and fantasy,  it is only showing everything in hd. For example Grim and Warehouse 13 is showing as  only in Hd  and asks me to upgrade but when I do a voice search then it has all formats. At least I know that I can get them in sd. Thanks

@Cazzaides  when you select a box set, say for instance Succession, when you select it, it will say watch s1 e1. Don't click but scroll right to All formats, click and then chose standard definition. You should now start downloading in SD.

@Cazzaides

The default download setting is HD so try changing the format to download in SD

you can change the default to SD by Pressing Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Setup.
Select Preferences, then On Demand default download format, and choose SD.

@CazzaidesAnother way round is to use "Sky Go" Once you have found it click on download and it gives the options of sending to your box in either SD or HD.
