I want to enter in to the 36 month contract for the Iphone 12 which requires me to use a data plan - I have the option to use the 100mb plan for £0.00 a month. Would I be able to activate this SIM and use my existing EE sim in the phone without having to use a Sky SIM or is this a breach of contract?

Yes you can activate the sim and not use it.
