Even though DHCPv6 PD works on its own it is highly recommended that you fill in the details for DHCP Option 61 as well for this Asus router per Sky's recommendation.

I did try the dhcp option 61 but the router refused to connect and kept retiring saying there was an issue with my isp's dhcp server. As soon as I removed it, the router connected first time.

For DHCP Option 61 and its parameters should be as follows and DHCP should be 123abc@skydsl|123abc

That sorted it, thanks @mae-3. I didn't need to change anything other than the DHCP string, so maybe I'd copied and pasted it wrong before...

Either way it's working now and I'm getting so much faster speeds than I was before on the Sky Q WiFi.

I'm hoping you can help.  I have recently had FTTP installed and have purchased ASUS ZenWifi but after following your settings. 

I still can't get them to work. The ASUS is currently plugged straight into ONT. but I get a red light. 

please see settings below. 

have I missed something?

Just checking the client identifier option 61 field. The format is 

Anything@skydsl|anything

Yours looks like anything@skydsllanything

The bit after @skydsl is a pipe seperator |

Still nothing.....

ive put the MAC address in.  From the back of the SR203 right?

also after typing it out, i pressed the button to the right 'mac clone'. 

I assume that's the right thing to do.  

ive restarted it and nothing has worked. 

I can get it to work by plugging the ASUS into the Sr203. But I wanted to do away with it.

Actually to clone the sky mac you type it in and save. Clicking the mac clone button will generate a mac that sky has verified before but at least will show the correct format ie with the : or without

In the uk dhcp option 61 is used in ireland pppoe

you might want to try and power the ONT off and on again
