unknown payment on credit card

My credit card has been charged with an amount of £32 starting in January 2018 and was still being charged up to December 2025!

I have no knowledge of what this payment is for as my SKY is paid for through my bank account and not my credit card.  I did have more than one account several years ago (one in my son's name) and two in my own name (different houses) but these were cancelled.

Can someone tell me what account they are in respect of?

@Mondo691 as customers, same as you, nobody here could know. Have you checked your Sky bills?

@Mondo691 all payments charged by Sky will be included in your Sky bills. Check your online bills to see what is shown for the £32 per month.

These amounts do not appear on my bill as they are not on my account - however SKY are saying they can't tell me whose account it is even though I have been paying for it for X years!

If those payments are definitely not for your Sky account then your next port of call is the credit card company...

Hi @Mondo691   What exactly is the payment name, Sky Digital? There are many companies that use Sky in their name not associated with the Sky Group.

it's SKY SUBSCRIPTION

If it not shown on your Sky account it might be from Sky marketplace  which is different from you main sky account That maily for app and normal method of payment from them is credit or  debit card and such payment will not appear on your normal Sky bill.

No, they can't do that for reasons of privacy and data protection.

Out of. Curiosity I presume the payment have now stop being taken, did they stop at a time when your credit card was replaced by a new one because the old one was out of date. This would point that the payments were no accepted  as the your  credit card information had changed.

HI - no they have not stopped - even when the credit card has been changed to a new number they are still coming out.

Is this £32 pm or an annual charge?

Won't the credit card stop the payments?

They did stop them and they refunded 12 months of transactions but then they were all recharged and taken in one lump sum in June - even though I had been issued a new credit card number!
