Re: sky deals

It's all part of sky's master plan to move us all on sky stream in the long term.

Sky Q prices will keep on increasing whilst the sky stream deals will get better and better.

I would switch now if the technology was stable but just waiting for the time being...

Wise to wait. Sky Stream can be infuriating compared to Q.
Deals are available for Q but tend not to be offered unless you're a new customer buying a bundle or ask to cancel an existing sub. The retentions department still offer excellent deals to keep customers who cancel.

Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount but if you’re offered something acceptable you need to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available.

Presumably for the reason you gave in your other post - it's something you'll need to pursue with Sky.

Quite possibly, although I'd suggest any such plan probably originates from their Comcast overlords....
