i have been a SKY customer for 25 years. Today i attempted tob downgrade my package as i am due to undergo surgery which means i will have a reduced salary. i asked to take off my sports and movies but was told icould not as i am contracted until September 2025. i have not signed anything or verbally agreed anything but i have been informed that this contract was completed by use of my sky remote control. Basically i am being told that i have to continue paying for another 14 months. No empathy, no understanding not interested. i did not do anything with my remote but perhaps my wife or grandson did.....but i am left paying for something i cannot afford...so much for being a VIP customer

As it sounds like you've agreed a new minimum term and as per the T&C's you'll need to see this through, Sky are not obliged to let you get out of this.
If it was done via your Sky remote then you should bhe pin protecting this to prevent such an occurence.
