i cannot link my sky ID with my new sky account

i;ve recently switched over from BT, have my hub and internet was activated today, seems to be working fine.

but i've been trying to link the sky ID with account 

 I have no sky account number so putting the last 6 numbers of the card i used when signing up for sky , but its saying they cant find any account?

If you can't rack down your account number - it could be in emails from Sky or in your online Messages - let us know and we'll get you some help with it.

I've checked back and I only have a couple of emails and none have an account number. One is to welcome me to sky and when my activation date will be, which is today. And the other is to activate my sky ID. Neither have any customer reference number. Which seems a bit strange.. but my Internet is activated.. I just can't access the account on my phone or laptop Well I can get in. I just can't link the account to view all my information and contract and such.
