I moved to SKy for Broadband and TV package when I moved house. I received the TV puk within a couple of days of signing up. The router package turned up about a week later on the 19th September. However, it was an empty box, with a big plastic label wrapped around it from Royal Mail, stating this was how they received the package. It was obviously empty, and had not been tampered with. I phoned Sky immediately and reported it, and was told another router would be sent out asap. especailly as my broadband was now "Live". After numerous phonecalls over the nexr few weeks, I finally had a new router delivered on the 18th october !!!!! 4 WEEKS LATER!!!! no internet / Tv/ home phone for 4 Weeks !! Mobile only, using all my data as no wifi.
I am self employed and work from home, which made it even more stressful. I was told on a few occasions by Sky advisors that I should get compensation, and I do have a complaint number which says ongoing.
How long does it take to get any form of compensation for delayed delivery, no internet etc ??

When you put in a complaint Sky has at most 8 weeks to either resolve it or to issue you with a deadlock letter that will allow you to take it further.
