holiday payment

i follow the link to the sky holiday payment help but cant see anyway to request one as im only £5 short off my bill this month but need it paid by monday and need help in paying it just this month as im struggling

payment holidays only apply to credit items (loans) not subscriptions.

If payment is due then it's probably too late to apply anyway.  You have to call Sky.

That isn't what a payment holiday is, a payment holiday pauses your payment against your mobile device for 3 months as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-payment-holiday

This means your contract is extended by 3 months to cover the break.

So does it make my bill cheaper but just for longer?

It would do as you wouldn't be paying for either your Sky Glass TV or a mobile device, for the later you would be paying for the sim and for the former you would be paying for just the TV package.
