get hold of an actual person at sky on live chat? new customer query

I am not yet a customer, I want to chat to a sales person via chat. I am looking at joining sky but have not yet. I would normally call but I cannot at the moment as my phone is broken and I have not got a landline, so I would like to chat to an agent. the useless Sky Assistant bot is completely useless and never actually passes you over to anyone. how can I get hold of someone to discuss my options????

It says I have earned a badge what it is that ?   My reason for making contact is firstly, to try and speak to someone in person but failing tht to find out the time scale from ordering broadband and it being installed.

Badges are just for using the community.  (Primarily a customer-led help forum)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

What sort of broadband? If it's Superfast and you already have a serviceable master phone socket, usually a couple of weeks or so. If Fibre and home home isn't already connected, it's likely to be considerably longer.
